I use this brass catcher when target shooting. I have had few different kinds of brass catchers that caused all kinds of problems. This is the best one so far. It works so well that I am not aware that it is attached to the rifle. It holds 50 5.56 brass casing with no problem. Once in a while one casing may sneak through, but its not often. One issue that may occur that you need to look and verify is the mounting on a flattop, make sure you have clearance with your scope and rings.

Great product ! I bought one of these a couple of months ago, and could not believe how well it fits and works on my AR 15s. The only negative is that you cannot buy the attachment for the picatinny rail so that the catcher can be used for more than one gun. On my long range AR, the large scope made it impossible to remove the brass catcher attachment without removing the scope, the reason for purchasing another.

It's not cheap, but if you buy cheap first, you'll regret not buying this one.

The fit to the upper is nice. I did have to open up the slot in the mount to fit on the rail however I believe that is because the riser was cheap and I think its is out of spec. It fit on to the rail that was on the upper perfectly. It caught 90 rounds without fail. I think it will catch 100 rounds easily. It matches up to the opening nicely with the riser on and did exactly what it is supposed to do.

Left handed shooters don't get hot shells hitting your ear. Also great at the ranges for collecting your shells no stoupping and sweeping with bad brooms. I reload so collecting shells are so easy. Being left handed hot shells don't hit your ear muffs or the shooter to your right.clean and quiet way of collecting your brass. When I'm at the range I am there to shoot not hunt and pick up brass.

This is the only decent brass catcher for carry handle AR's. It installs easily and never hinders the rifles operation. All empty brass is ejected cleanly to the bag where it is collected with no problems. I might have liked a zipper rather than the velcreo bag closure, If you are a reloader this is what you need.

Agree with other shooter that you have to remove iron sights if they are on the rail in order to put their mount on. Once the mount is on the location is NOT correct due to the location of the scope mounted on the rail. I use an elcan.

The only Con I can think of is that it collects brass too fast. I keep having to empty it.

Works like a charm, well made. Would be great to be able to purchase a couple of extra mounts for other rifles, and finding a quick on/off solution for removing it wouldn't hurt either. However, this would mean less sales, but I would not mind paying for extra mounts instead of purchasing another complete bag. Nice product. Just make sure you have enough rail space at the end in case you have some big scope attached, I barely had enough room to install the mount.

Catcher appears to be very well made. I have an Armalite base on my AR (1" EX0027)the thumb screws (nuts) on the base are in the way of getting a tight fit to the side of rifle.I've got a feeling this plastic base is not going to hold up to the rigors of coyote hunting.I'm going to a burris base in 30mm believe nuts are on left side of rifle should fix the problem. I feel that at some time this base is going to crack. Since it seems that you can't order replacement parts,I'm going to try an make the part out of a set of old steel rings.

I put this on my M4 and got exactly what I paid for, THE BEST BRASS CATCHER. When it says it holds 70 pieces they were wrong, it hold a few more. I am so happy I purchased this I am buying a second one for my Step-Son. I even ran it with a Slide-Fire stock and held the all the spent shells with no jamming or obstructions, and I was also running a 60 round clip which should be another great review...

this thing is very well thought out, well built and easy to use... could be considered a little spendy but it works perfect and is a nice robust piece. i'd buy it again in a heartbeat!

Quality brass catcher, although a little expensive.

Works well / no malfunctions. Held two mags worth of 5.56 brass (60 pieces) easily.

Rear BUIS had to be removed to install rail adapter. This can be a pain if you don't have quick-disconnect mounts for red dot, scope, etc. Additional rail adapters can be had if you look around, unfortunately Brownells doesn't sell them.

I've tried some other brass catchers for AR15 rifles, they have all been very disappointing, the fit poorly and didn't want to stay in position. The 3 Bucc was more expensive, but it looked like a much better design, I've now used it and I'm very impressed with this one, it fits, and it stays in place, it catches all the brass and doesn't kick it back into the chamber like the others.

The major suggestion for this brass catcher is to have additional mounts available so it can easily moved to another rifle.

The brass catcher is by far the best I've used. Holds a decent amount of brass, stays put once in place, and can be removed/reattached quickly. The only negative I could mention is that it can be a challenge to attach when using optics.

I bought one of these and to my surprise it doesn't fit over the picatiny rail. If you have iron sights or anything else on your rail, you must remove it to slide the mount on from either end. Makes moving it to different weapons a pain. The quality is nice but doesn't over come the flawed design. I have tried calling 3bucc several times and I just get the answering machine and no one calls me back.

I have been using one of these on my ar15s and ar10s for about 7 or 8 years. They are great if you want to reload, and also help to keep the litter down at the ranch rifle range where I shoot.
I was able to order a couple of the plastic rail mount things from 3Bucc a couple of years ago, so I could switch the brasscatcher between ARs quickly. I wish Brownells would sell the mount as a separate item or sell the catcher with 2 mounts.

Works perfectly-fits nicely. Very well made. This is the very best of several I have tried. Far superior to the ones that attach with velcro.

This Bras Catcher works great on a .223 flat top receiver and allows for mounting of different sights bases.

I really like this product. It was back ordered for about a month before I received it but it was everything that I expected. It works really well. I would give this item 5 stars except for the fact that you cannot get spare mounts to use on other firearms, they are not sold separately. I also have been trying to contact 3Bucc directly by email and voice messages on how to purchase these spares and have not received Anything back, email nor phone call. Sometimes the number on their web site just rings and rings and no one picks up, then the next time you call the answering machine does.
Frustrated.
