The handguard by itself on a matte black upper receiver has a distinct and unique look, and breaks up the overall profile of the firearm. Also unique on the Brownells BRN-4 quad rail handguard compared to similar handguards, is the machined in locking bolt hardware. This ensures the clamping forces are evenly spread to the body of the handguard, optimizing clamping force. You don’t have to worry about zero shifting with this setup. Indexing tab at the top interfaces with the BRN-4 upper receiver and prevents rotation.Handguard attaches directly to any Brownells BRN-4 upper receiver group, and is also compatible with HK®, 416, MR556 and MR223 platforms.

Die BRN-4 M27 Handguards sind in Längen von 11 und 9 Zoll erhältlich und eignen sich für eine Vielzahl von Lauf-längen und Anwendungen. Das 11 Zoll Modell passt perfekt zum BRN-4 M27 mit 16 Zoll Lauf, da es den Gasblock abdeckt und viel Platz auf der Picatinny-Schiene bietet. Das 9 Zoll Modell ist ideal für Karabiner-Bauten, besonders für das handliche 10,4 Zoll Modell.
Besonders an den BRN-4 Handguards von Brownells ist, dass sie auch in Flat Dark Earth erhältlich sind. Die Handguard selbst auf einem mattschwarzen Upper Receiver hat ein markantes und einzigartiges Aussehen und sorgt für eine interessante Gesamtform der Waffe.
Ein weiteres einzigartiges Merkmal der Brownells BRN-4 Quad Rail Handguard im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Handguards ist die integrierte, maschinell gefertigte Verriegelungsschraube. Dies sorgt dafür, dass die Krafteinwirkungen gleichmäßig auf den Körper der Handguard verteilt werden, was die Klemmkraft optimiert.
