The Brownells Iron Sight Slide for Glock® 17 Gen4 is optimized for fast slide manipulation under stress. Glock® pistols are, of course, known for their reliability, but they are still machines, and machines CAN malfunction at inopportune moments. If you do have to clear a jam, this slide helps you do it FAST. It has both standard rear cocking serrations and unique front serrations that wrap entirely AROUND the top of the slide, providing a huge grasping area that enables you to grab the slide and yank it rearward in a flash. This is also helpful for quick chamber checks or when you need to rack the slide from an unorthodox position. Precision machined from solid 17-4 stainless steel billet to factory specifications inside, the Iron Sight Slide for Gen4 Glock® 17 is compatible with Gen4 internal components. There's a factory rear sight dovetail and a standard Glock® front sight tenon cut ready for your choice of factory or aftermarket "iron" sights. A tough, non-reflective Black Nitride finish boosts the slide's resistance to surface wear and further protects it from corrosion.
